ONE YEAR.... AND COUNTING....

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THIS HANDSOME DEVIL!!

I can't believe that a year ago today, I made the best decision of my life and married the man of my dreams. It has a been a whole year, time sure does fly when you're having fun.

To Joey-
I just want you to know how much I love you. I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have married someone so perfect for me in so many ways. You can make me laugh harder than anyone, comfort me when I am down, make me feel like a million bucks, and you help me grow daily in the ways that are most important. You're my partner in crime, my shoulder to cry on, my confidant, and my best friend in the whole wide world. Thank you for being the best husband I could ever imagine. One year down, many many many to go! I can't wait. I love you! Happy Anniversary!!

We'll give it another try...

Ok I admit it. I suck. I fail miserably. I am not good at blogging. There's that fine line between not having enough time or great internet connection and not really having anything to blog about that keeps me from being an avid blogger. But then I think about how I sad I will be in 10 (or even 5) years when I can't remember anything that we did, especially in our first year of marriage. So here goes another try at being a "blogger". I don't make any promises, but I will try and be better.

They say that a "picture is worth a thousand words" Since I haven't posted anything since November, I am going to do a overview of the past few months through the pictures that I have, and hopefully it will jog my memory.

NOVEMBER

We went to the premiere of Breaking Dawn, of course.

All things HALLOWEENY!!!!

October was an extremely busy month for us, but more importantly, an extremely fun month. We were able to do a lot of fun things that were Halloweeny and spookifying (is that a word??) Sorry for the picture overload..

We had a progressive dinner with some friends and it was so much fun. I didn't get pictures from all the houses, including my own, but everyone did such an awesome job and it was so fun to see everyone's houses and to be with friends. We also got to celebrate Haley's birthday! We had appetizers at Rachel's, salad at my house, soup at Sarah's, and desserts at Haley's. Good job Haley, for planning such a great night! I loved it!

Halloween party #1.. Stephanie and Sam Hale threw an AMAZING Halloween party over the weekend and we were lucky enough to go. They had incredible food, fun games (like donuts on a string and mafia), and everyone looked great in their costumes. And of course... we unveiled our polygamist/Warren Jeffs costume. Thanks to Momma Stoker, we were decked out head to toe!

On Saturday, we had the Utah vs. Oregon State BLACKOUT football game. AND WE WON!!! WOO HOO!! GO UTES!!

We had our second round of pumpkin carving at the Rice's home. Meet Casper, our second creation. And of course we made the seeds again too! Madi made an adorable "U" pumpkin, but sadly I didn't get a picture of it.

Halloween party #2... Every year the Rice's have a Halloween party, and we look forward to it every year. And this one was epic for sure. It's so fun to see what everyone had dressed up as but more fun for us to dress up again!

Cinderella, the ugly stepsisters, and the cat! They looked AWESOME!!

And again, the polygamist costume, with a few minor adjustments. My favorite part was Sandi dressing up and going all out. More than some of us!! Hilarious!

The Final Product!!

Happy Halloween to everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I am so ready for November and Thanksgiving, and I was even ok with the snow on the ground this morning. I LOVE THE HOLIDAY SEASON!!! Love you all!!
